The nipple is equipped with an anti-colic valve, that lets out air which reduces air swallowed while feeding.
The nipple is produced from natural rubber latex. Since natural rubber latex is a natural material, color variation may occur.

Before first use
sterilize all bottle components in boiling water for 5 minutes. Inspect nipples regularly and replace them as needed (every 1–2 months for latex, 2–3 months for silicone), or sooner if damaged.
Sterilization before every use is recommended. Never exceed the bottle’s maximum heat resistance of 100°C and never seal or cover the bottle during sterilization.
Cleaning
All bottle components, except for the funnel and nipple, are top-rack dishwasher safe.
